MUSIC
SUBMISSION:
You
can bring your music in on CD, USB or firewire drives,
or you can upload it to our server. The
easiest thing to do is to indicate your in and out points
by the minutes and seconds readout on your CD player.
For instance; "Start at 0:00 through 0:45, cut to
1:45 through 2:20, cut to 3:53 to the end."
And
yes, we can actually read scales at DES (yes, we've
learned to count to eight!) and you can bring your edits
in this way if you prefer.
TIP: It's much easier if you indicate the beginning
of verses, choruses, instrumentals etc. on your scale
along with the occasional lyric as a sign post.
If
you are going to attend the editing session, you can also
just give our editor the in & out points verbally
as the music loads into the digital workstation.
